| Description |
Engagement Type: Contract Short Description: OT-Travel Complete Description: The OT position is full time 40 hours a week, 8:30 - 5:00 with rotating 1 weekend per month, also a 13 week contract.
Please only submit candidates that can start ASAP.
Mix of stroke patients, orthopedic patients, general med/surg patients in and SNF setting.
The person would mainly be on our TCC.
Generally about 10 treatments per day.
Prefer 2 years Acute Care or SNF experience.
CA OT License, BLS Under the direction of the Rehabilitation Director, evaluates, plans, and administers medically prescribed Occupational Therapy treatment to patients.
1.
Performs a comprehensive physical, psycho-social, and safety assessment as evidenced by clinical documentation.
2.
Develops a plan of care to promote optimal function and safety as documented in the medical record.
3.
Plans for and provides skilled occupational therapy treatment, reassessing the patient’s status during each visit and ensuring quality of care as documented in the medical record.
4.
Coordinates patient care with other clinical team members ensuring optimal patient care and communication as noted in the medical record.
5.
Completes all required paperwork following each visit to ensure that documentation reflects care provided and outcomes achieved as evidenced in the medical record.
6.
Maintains and enhances personal knowledge as well as promoting professional standards in occupational therapy.
7.
Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job related hazards.
