Omaha, NE – Travel nursing and allied health staffing company, Medical Solutions is proud to announce that Cynthia Maier and Debra DeArmas have been chosen to represent the company in Healthcare Traveler Magazine’s 2008 Travelers of the Year Showcase.
Ms. Maier, a Medical Technologist, is the first Allied Health Professional selected by Medical Solutions as a Traveler of the Year. Ms. DeArmas, an ICU RN, endured difficulties brought on by the devastation of Hurricane Dolly while on assignment in Texas.
“Both Cynthia and Debra embody the qualities we look for in our traveling healthcare professionals,” stated Scott Anderson, President of Medical Solutions. “We feel privileged to work with each of them and are honored to congratulate them on this honor which reflects their dedication to quality patient care and impeccable integrity.”
Cynthia Maier began traveling with Medical Solutions in December of 2007 and became one of the first travelers in the company’s Allied Health Division. Her attention to detail has earned her praise from the hospital and she continues to display a strong commitment to patient care. Cynthia’s professionalism shows through in all she does.
For Debra DeArmas, Hurricane Dolly turned a routine travel assignment in Texas into a battle of perseverance. She endured widespread flooding, sweltering heat, and power outages for several days, plus a lack of food. Despite these miserable conditions, Debra never missed a shift at the hospital. The devotion she displayed to her work was truly inspiring.
These are only two of the great travelers Medical Solutions is fortunate to work with. When it comes to providing superior service to its travelers, the company takes a unique approach by assigning a dedicated Recruiter for their entire career. This allows the travelers to build a strong professional relationship with their Recruiters and work together to accomplish their career and travel goals.
Travel nursing and allied health are unique and specialized fields that combine an individual’s dedication to quality patient care with their sense of adventure. These qualities allow healthcare providers the opportunity to further their career and travel the country.
