Travel ER RN is needed for a 13 week assignment to start ASAP in a hospital located in Alaska. Day shift 7a-7p, 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next. Nurses provide all care including phlebotomy, IV, nebs, EKG. Traumas are stabilized and medevaced. Outpatient department runs like a doctorâs office in the morning and an urgent care in the afternoon. Nurse must be willing to work both the Outpatient unit as well as the 2 ER beds. Nurse will work with other ER nurses, Med-Surg nurses, LPN’s, CNA’s and Family Practice Physicians. Must be knowledgeable of Pyxis and support the current move to EHR. Must be proficient in all age ER. Must be a solo traveler including NO PETS.

Labor and Delivery – On Call RN
Travel L and D-OB RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP. RN WILL BE ON-CALL 7P-7A SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. Schedule will NOT change daily and may be same shift for whole assignment, but we want the option to change shifts if needed). In a typical week there will be about 20 hours of direct patient care to assist physicians with procedures in labor and delivery, postpartum and for the neonate, and 20-hours assisting the inpatient staff nurses as needed, providing support to DON for data and statistical reporting and projects on OB patients. In addition to the approximate 40 hours worked per week, the nurse will carry a cell phone for OB call. There is no call back as position is on call for the 12 hour shift.
