Come work in Northern Montana close to a beautiful National Park for your next travel assignment. This is a great place to enjoy during the summertime! Small government hospital has a need for an Travel L and D RN with OB and Med Surg experience to start ASAP to work through 9-30-2011.
No MT license needed. Any State license will suffice. Primarily 12 hr shifts with 1 hour lunch for a 11.5 shift. (4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next week for a total of 80 hours in two weeks). Flexible shifts, which can be discussed more in interview, but most shifts will be Day shifts. The unit has two rooms. Around 180 – 200 deliveries-year (average 13-18-month). Unit does not always have active labor patients; therefore, the staff WILL also work in the med surg unit as well. Nurse-patient ratio is 1-1 and occasionally 1-2 for active L and D patients. NRP and Fetal Heart Monitoring would be recommended since the L and D nurse often takes care of the Newborns as well. 80 hours every 2 weeks guaranteed.
