Come work in Northern AZ at a JCAHO accredited mid-sized health center that provides services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. This facility is located on the land known as the Colorado Plateau. This semi-desert landscape varies in elevation from 4,400 in the Little Colorado River Valley to nearly 7,000 feet at Preston Mesa.
AZ License not required at this facility since this is a Federal facility. Any state licensure will suffice. Med Surg unit is looking for 2 Travelers to start ASAP. General Med Surg experience required. 12 hr Days. Will work 7, 12 hour shifts per 2 week pay period, typically 3 shifts one week followed by 4 the next. Every other weekend. 30 bed unit. Nurse-patient ratio on Days 6-1, Nights 7-1. BLS required. ACLS preferred. OT paid after 80 hours per 2 weeks. This hospital does not guarantee hours each week, although it’s extremely rare where a Traveler doesn’t get full time hours each week. RN will only get paid for hours worked.
