Medical Solutions & Planet Water
In honor of the amazing, life-saving work Medical Solutions Travelers do every day, we are proud to partner with Planet Water Foundation. Healthcare providers understand just how crucial access to clean, safe water is when it comes to maintaining health, treating disease, and even preventing death. Our efforts with Planet Water help bring clean, safe water to areas in need by installing community-based water filtration systems and offering educational programs on water health and hygiene. 2015 Sponsorship of Planet Water's Project 24
In honor of World Water Day, Sunday, March 22, 2015, Planet Water's Project 24 will install and commission 24 clean water filtration systems in 24 impoverished communities in just 24 hours. In the face of staggering global statistics, like the fact that 4000 children die every 24 hours from water-related illnesses, Project 24 aims to help prevent waterborne diseases that can often result in illness and/or death.
At 2 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, March 22, the Medical Solutions-sponsored clean water filtration system will go up at the Watslatromchey Primary School in the Cambodian village of Preah Kau, providing access to clean water for bathing, cooking, and cleaning to 122 students, 145 households, and 794 other beneficiaries in the small, rural village.
Medical Solutions is extremely proud to support Project 24's life-saving and life-changing mission! Click here to see our sponsor page, learn more about Project 24, watch the live webcast on World Water Day, find out how you can help, and more.

Clean Water for Phnov
In 2012, Medical Solutions partnered with Planet Water Foundation to help bring fresh, clean water to the men, women, and children who live in the tiny village of Phnov, located in the Tasom Commune, Angkor Chum District of Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Planet Water's team and local deployment partner PLAN Cambodia, installed AquaTowers in Daun Sva and Prasat Thnung Primary Schools. Before these installations, students had no access to clean drinking water at school, with only access to water from a contaminated pond or well nearby.
According to Planet Water, Medical Solutions' donation of two towers — one on behalf of its company, and the other on behalf of its Travel Nurses — brought clean, safe water to more than 1,200 students and 2,000-plus people in the area!
