Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse
Traveling nurses in the field of Cardiac Cath Lab Nursing aid in the analysis of heart disease and help conduct interventional strategies, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and valvuloplasties. These Cardiac Cath Lab nurses are responsible for aiding doctors in the inoculation of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and must keep up on the modernization of Cardiac Cath Lab technologies. These nurses may have additional expertise with ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), or be certified by the ANCC (American Nurse Credentialing Center) in Cardiac Vascular Nursing.
