Roundup River Ranch 2018: Katie’s Story

In 2018, Medical Solutions partnered once again with Roundup River Ranch, a Serious Fun camp in Gypsum, Colorado, that offers a free camp experience to children with serious illnesses. Part of our contribution to Roundup River Ranch includes helping recruit talented healthcare professionals to support campers’ medical needs. That’s also good news and a great opportunity for Medical Solutions Travelers who’ve always wanted to do good and go back to camp!

This summer we helped recruit three amazing Travel Nurses to spend the summer at Roundup River Ranch, and over the next few months, we’ll share their camp stories with you. First up, here is Katie’s story...

2018 Share Your Snapshot Photo Contest Winners

The judges have conferred over hundreds of truly amazing submissions and the 2018 Share Your Snapshot Photo Contest Winners have been crowned!

Last month we challenged our amazing Travelers — past, present, and (we hope!) future — to share their best snapshots of what it means to them to be rocking that nurse life. We offered up four $100 Amazon gift cards as prizes to motivate all the nurse shutterbugs out there to really bring their photographic A-game — and guess what? Clinical Corner: Marijuana Law

The public is becoming more supportive of marijuana law reform every day, with new polls showing that more than half of the country is in favor of legalizing marijuana. “I was told that Travel Nursing was not good for people with families. For me, it has been the opposite. My husband's job requires him to travel often. I am so excited for this opportunity with Medical Solutions, but even more, I am so thankful that it has allowed us to be a complete family again.”
