Winter Sleigh Ride
Vermont is a great place for dashing through the snow, in an awesome Travel Nurse location!
Vermont

The land of Bernie Sanders and Ben & Jerry’s is a great location for Travel Nursing in winter! The modern ski industry was born in Vermont’s Green Mountains and it’s been a hotspot for the winter sport ever since, along with similar seasonal activities like snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding, ice skating, sleigh rides, and cross country skiing. If that’s not your thing, visit one of Vermont’s quirky small cities and browse for antiques, catch a concert, or learn how a few of your favorite things are made — including world-class cheese, ice cream, blown glass, furniture, chocolate, pewter, and more. You can also join an authentic Vermont contra dance, check out one of the state’s 106 covered bridges, and tour one of its many unique micro-breweries. And of course, before winter comes to a close and spring turns The Green Mountain State green again, you can visit one of Vermont’s famous sugarhouses where the sap runs in late winter and the whole scene smells of sweet maple!
