North Carolina

The Tar Heel State has it all. From mountain-nestled, arts-centric Asheville in the west all the way east to Cape Hatteras and NC’s beautiful beach scene. Hop on the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway, known as one of the U.S.’s most scenic drives — 469 miles through the Appalachian Mountains, from the Great Smoky Mountains to the Shenandoah Skyline Drive.
