Like the Travel Nurses and healthcare organizations we serve, our team at Medical Solutions wants to make the world a better place. This conviction has led our company to give back to our communities in several ways, from installing clean water filtration towers in poor villages around the world to volunteering at local non-profits.
As part of our Medical Solutions Gives initiative, we’re also passionate about helping children. In fact, we’ve been a longtime supporter of Roundup River Ranch, a summer camp for kids with serious illnesses and an affiliate of the SeriousFun Children’s Network. For four years, we’ve helped the Colorado-based camp recruit Travel Nurses and we’ve funded a portion of their pay.
This summer, we are expanding our partnership with Roundup River Ranch to include two more amazing SeriousFun camps. In addition to Roundup River Ranch, a few lucky Medical Solutions Travel Nurses will be stationed at The Painted Turtle camp and Camp Boggy Creek, located in California and Florida, respectively.
Founded by actor Paul Newman, SeriousFun is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a memorable summer camp experience for kids living with chronic illnesses. Campers can escape the label of “patient” and enjoy just being a kid. While at camp, kids are encouraged to try new activities, have fun, and make new friends. The results are truly priceless — campers gain more self-confidence and take home memories that last a lifetime.
Even better, the camps are free of charge, thanks in large part to the support of an outstanding staff, an army of volunteers, and generous donors. At Medical Solutions, we are proud and pleased to continue our partnership with this wonderful, life-changing organization.
