I attribute my success to this: I never gave or took an excuse. -Florence Nightingale
A LITTLE ABOUT MEI believe in the power of a genuine smile. I wake up on the right side of the bed in the morning; usually with a hot cup of coffee and Good Morning America on the tube. I'm naturally curious and keep a positive outlook on life. I strive to positively impact as many people as I can, even if that just means leaving someone in a better mood than when I found them. If I'm not at work, you'll find me relaxing in a hammock somewhere, writing, playing with my lab rescue, Lyona, or spending time with friends & family.
My love & admiration for nurses hit me hard in college after having emergency surgery. I was just down a gallbladder, but I'd never had surgery before and I was terrified. I woke up after surgery completely out of my element; I had no idea where I was or what had happened, and my folks lived too far away to be there for me in time. When I opened my eyes, it was just me and my recovery nurse, Gayle. I'll never understand how she was able to put me at ease the way she did, but she had me smiling before she even had a chance to explain what had happened! I will forever be grateful for nurses like Gayle, who go over & beyond in the call of duty. I provide 24/7 customer service for my nurses, and I actually do what I say I'm going to do. My goal is to work as hard as I can to make sure I'm the only recruiter my nurses ever have to call.
