Travel Stepdown/Intermediate care RN is needed for a 13 week assignment to start ASAP in a Hospital located in North Carolina. Shifts consist of Straight Nights or D/N rotating shifts meaning they will be expected to work both days and nights as needed which is what they prefer. Please be sure to specify what shift your traveler wants when you submit them. Minimum requirement of one year travel experience. 40 bed intermediate unit. Intermediate patient care and support for general surgery, trauma, GOP and transplant patients with medical and/or surgical problems including but not limited to: respiratory insufficiency, cardiac arrhythmia, complex fluid management, single and/or multi system injury complications, complex wounds. 2665 admissions/year. Average LOS: 5.77. RN ratio 1:4. Current Compact state RN or NC RN licensure required. BLS through the American Heart Association required. The facility prefers travel experience but right now they are not requiring it due to the amount of open jobs they currently have. If they do not have travel experience they want the RN to have at least 5 years of experience. There is also an 80 mile radius restriction. There are NO exceptions to either of these rules.
