Job Description

Travel ICU Float pool RN is needed to float between the ICU, Telemetry, and Surgical units as needed at a hospital in North Dakota for 13 weeks. Shifts consist of D/N rotating shifts 7-7 with every other weekend and holiday. The ICU unit has 15 beds. The Telemetry has 32 beds. The surgical Unit has 51 beds. RN’s monitor and read rhythms. They use CNA’s. Day charge does not take patients, night charge takes light patient load if census below 6. Experience dealing with cardiologist and CT surgeons, must be a team player. Medical/Surgical ICU, care for all types of patients excluding transplant. Average length of stay is 1-2 days, high patient turnover. The ICU charge nurse (TL) may take patients on day and nights if the census is 4 or less but it has to be an appropriate patient and we have Nurse assistants on ICU they are not certified. The positions available are D/N Rotating and they are looking for candidates to work either 8 or 12 hour shifts, for 72 hours every 2 weeks.
