Great hospital in CO is looking for a Ophthalmic Technician to work in their Outpatient Clinic for a 13 week assignment. This is one of the most highly desired locations in the country. Unit Ophthalmology / ENT clinic # suites: 2 exam rooms # of cases per day: 12-15 visits per day on average. Certs/Tech certified: Certified ophthalmology tech. Prefers BLS, but facility can provide a class on site. Minimum 1 year of working experience in the last year. Charge Nurse: Office Director Charting system: E-clinical works Holidays: No Scrub Color/ Provided: Any scrubs accepted as long as professional in appearance. RT 24/7: NA Pharmacy 24/7: NA Shifts: M-F 8am-5pm Floating: No Floor specific orientation: General hospital orientation plus clinic orientation. Total of a week or less depending on traveler comfort level. General Aspen Valley orientation done in clinic as well. Common duties: Eye exams, visual field testing, refracting patients, pressures testing, patient check in and discharge. Number of staff per day Working on increasing volume and having 2 techs on per day.
