U.S. News & World Report has announced its rankings for best hospitals 2015-2016.

“We sifted through data for nearly 5,000 hospitals and results from surveys of more than 140,000 physicians to rank the best centers in 16 adult specialties from cancer to urology. Death rates, patient safety and hospital reputation were a few of the many factors we considered. Only 137 hospitals were nationally ranked in a specialty. The Honor Roll features 15 Best Hospitals that scored near the top in at least six specialties,” the publication wrote of this year’s process.

This year’s Honor Roll was, in order from 1-15:

  • Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts
  • Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota
  • Third place tie between John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California
  • Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio
  • Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts
  • New York-Presbyterian University Hospital of Colombia and Cornell in New York, New York
  • UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, California
  • Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania-Penn Presbyterian in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  •  Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri
  •  Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois
  •  NYU Langone Medical Center in New York, New York
  •  UPMC-University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  •  Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina
  •  Stanford Health Care-Stanford Hospital in Stanford, California
