OMAHA, Neb. — WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions, a Medical Solutions company, successfully concluded its largest international nurse hiring event to date, aimed at addressing critical staffing needs within a major healthcare system. The in-person hiring event, which took place in June, ended with nearly 600 international nurses receiving offers to join healthcare facilities across five states: Arizona, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and North Dakota.

The hiring event targeted Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduates across 35 countries who successfully passed the NCLEX exam and possess a minimum of two years’ clinical experience. Proficiency in English speaking, reading, writing, and listening was also a prerequisite.
The United States is currently grappling with a significant nursing shortage, a challenge exacerbated by ongoing healthcare demands that affect patient care in communities nationwide. WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions’ event aimed to address this shortage directly by interviewing more than 800 international nurses. Recruiters conducted virtual interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications for nursing roles within the healthcare system, providing immediate employment consideration to qualified applicants.
