Gold Seal of Approval From the Joint Commission

News & Announcements

Medical Solutions, one of the nation’s largest healthcare staffing companies, has earned recertification from The Joint Commission. This marks the ninth consecutive Healthcare Staffing Services (HCSS) Certification for the company. Medical Solutions was one of the first healthcare staffing firms to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® in 2005.

The Joint Commission conducted its thorough on-site review at the company’s Omaha headquarters in December. Joint Commission experts assessed and evaluated Medical Solutions’ compliance with national standards for healthcare quality and safety. The recertification earns Medical Solutions The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval through 2020.

“The Joint Commission is a highly respected accrediting body in healthcare, and we appreciate their process and professional evaluation of our compliance and standards at Medical Solutions,” said Craig Meier, CEO at Medical Solutions. “We hold our certification in high regard, and align it with our commitment to quality and striving to be the best in the industry.”

Joint Commission-certified healthcare staffing firms are assessed on how the firm determines the qualifications and competency of healthcare staff, placement of staff, and monitoring of performance. The evaluation and standards also focus on ensuring security of information, leadership and management performance, human resources management, ongoing measurement and improvement, and information management.

“Our continued certification demonstrates our dedication to our clients and the healthcare professionals that we employ,” said Amber Barna, BSN, RN, Senior Director of Nursing & Quality Assurance at Medical Solutions. “It’s a team effort, and we are very proud of the quality and service-driven team we have at Medical Solutions.”
