• I only dealt with my recruiter at this company and she was the best. I always had a lot of questions and she was always available to answer them. Benefits like healthcare and a 401K plan are available to you. Pros Very attentive recruiter Cons Not that I can think of

  • Pros Big, lots of corporate connections and good positioning in global market. Cons Lack of transparency Poor commission structure that changes regularly Too much management Not enough communication from top to bottom of organization. If you’re hired organically, perhaps the training and onboarding is better but as an employee who was part of an acquisition, I felt second class the entire time. No communication, no explanation of policy, no support to overcome challenges. Do yourself a favor and leave before they decide to cut your whole division. Advice to Management If you’re going to go around acquiring companies, at least do your new employees the service of telling them your intentions for their company. Give them training on why you do things the way you do. Invest in them more than your own organic employees for the onboarding so they can see you care and understand the culture. Otherwise it’s hollow and meaningless.

Was traveler and was happy with company and recruiter and my handler. They are caring and work with you. They listen and try to help in many ways. Would work with them again.

  • My recruiter is awesome. He always has my back. Anything I need he makes happen. One of the beat paying i have found. Good insurance. They work hard for their nutses.

  • The culture here really carries it's rating. Far and away the most positive, supportive, and uplifting place I've worked. It took me months to believe it wasn't just an act.Work from home is amazing, the benefits for a single person such as myself are on par with what I've typically had, and the unlimited PTO system is actually pretty effective, very rarely have I been unable to get time off. What tempered my rating is that the work itself feels so pointless. It's easy, and really only complicated the number of files one has and if the nurse/agency actually do their compliance in timely fashion.Additionally, pay and upward mobility are underwhelming. I am thankfully hourly, and if overtime is unavailable, I don't work extra. The salary itself is just ok, and the career path pretty uninspired.Overall, this is the least toxic place I've ever worked and that goes far. I may not always like my job, mostly because it's boring and repetitive, but very rarely do I hate it or have a bad day.

I am currently on my first travel assignment and the best part has been my recruiter!! Ginger was proactive and communicated with me through every step. She made sure I was prepared for my assignment and checked on me frequently. She notified me of the giveaways so I wouldn’t miss out. She is genuine and caring, and has given me emotional support as I’m going through a personal issue. Ginger is part of the reason this company is amazing. I’m glad I kept making excuses to wait before I became a travel nurse, because now I’m blessed with her as my recruiter and friend!!

The micro-aggressive behavior of those at this company is astounding. There are literally only 5 black ppl that work here out of thousands…and no, there are not any other ethnicities just thousands of white ppl faking blacents to the few black ppl who work here. The chance for advancement for those of color is very limited. If you inquire about other positions, you are met with every excuse in the book as to why they can’t accommodate as little as an interview for positions we are more than qualified for(not looking for a hand out). In these instances, they would rather hire ppl off the street over hiring from within. It is very clear that the few black ppl working here were hired to be seen and NOT heard. And they constantly want to parade us around, constantly bringing up their diversity council at every evaluation and looking down on you every time you don’t jump when they say to. And the worst part is that they don’t care. They’re just too drunk on their own fake wokeness to see the truth.

The recruiters were awesome and provided accurate information re: nursing contracts. I found that in 2018/19 that there contracts tended to lower in pay or not available in many locations that I wished to work in. The medical benefits were average. This company is good but if desiring the highest pay per contract, you may want to compare with other agencies. Pros Gifts for time in contract Cons Lower pay and fewer contact sites

Started here a while back. Culture was great, management was great, overall great place to work. Then acquisitions happened. Transitions were a huge failure - worse than when I worked in public service. Culture is dead ever since COVID. Similar staffing agencies have managed to still have team outings and parties but not Med Sol - all of it is dead. Management has become even less communicative and transparent - I think they forget employees talk and what communication they do send out to employees is only a sliver of what is going on. Want to get promoted? Hope you are “in” with the management team - it’s definitely possible but it is obvious they have favorites - you can be a producer and workhorse and have a good attitude but that doesn’t seem to matter these days. New positions are created that make it almost impossible to gain experience in other roles. Unless you are an Account Manager, I can guarantee pay is far better at a competitor. Basically, this company has gotten so big all they now care about is making money, the turnover is fairly moderate, but it doesn’t appear executive leadership cares much; which is sad because it is no longer an employer’s market. This is a good place to work if you like stagnant corporate America. If you are looking for a more progressive and inclusive environment I would definitely look at a competitor. I am glad to have moved on to another more employee focused company.

I love working for medical solutions, this company takes care of their travelers, the recruiter’s are great also. You can pick your assignment, so you can go anywhere you want.

  • I have had a terrible experience with this company. If you're lucky you'll get more than one assignment but for me the energy was only there to get me my first assignment. After that I have to beg them to communicate with me. They allowed the second assignment to break contract and I was never paid for the days I spent on the assignment. They do not work for you. They are working for the facility's they staff. There are other staffing agencies that do a much better job at advocating for their staff. There are accountants in the company that have forbid my recruiter from assisting with positions in the region they are over due to a prior illness I experienced resulting in a few missed days of work. DO NOT choose Medical Solutions Pros One assignment at least Cons No communication unless forced
